I've added Donald Trump's Blog link to the right. I know - Trump is always trying to sell himself. But he's good at it. Furthermore, he uses the language of being tough without crossing into nonnsense about war. That could change tomorrow - but his books are about adding value, and of course, how he can help you add that value :)
We'll talk more about him in the future.

In my opinion, Trump is another "master of illusion" ranking right up with the greats of the field. His entire world is smoke and mirrors. But don't misunderstand me, he does it well and it works wonders for him. But remember a lack of substance does become apparent at times - he nearly lost his incomplete "new Trump tower" in downtown Chicago recently for lack of funds. Sometimes, though, it saddens me because it seems that more often than not it is the illusionists and the "spin-doctors" that seem to get the farthest ahead. Too bad, flash and marketing savvy win out over quality, form and function nearly every time. How many times can we see examples of the lesser quality product winning the race because of superior flashy hype. A great example is the story of the video tape standard. Sony's Beta-Max was far superior in all regards to JVC's VHS format but VHS won through the sheer weight of saturation marketing. We saw a very similar case with the race for the HD DVD standard. It is true, however, that some will simply refuse to play the hype-marketing game but they know that in the end they will have less than those who do play the game. This really gives us some proof to the adage that "it is not what you know, but who you know that counts..."

Being Well Inform: By Donald Trump
According to the blog that Donald Trump posted, I would say that it is very interesting to read and I learned from this because he delivers advice about expanding your knowledge and he touches on enjoying life and the things that he loves to do. What made me enjoy this blog was the discovery of variety of interesting subjects and the last paragraph where he starts his sentence by saying “Don’t be afraid to expand your horizons by expanding your base of knowledge.” In my opinion, I would say that with the knowledge I have, I feel I need to use it more in classroom discussions because I am known to be a quite person that likes to observe others talking and not say anything.
That’s a fear that I have been having for years, and what motivated me about this quote is that whatever is on my mind, I should express it with details and listen to others as well to make a conversation going. The variety of subjects and the things that Mr. Trump does, I can relate to some of that in my personal life because I like being on the Internet, listen music, watch sports, read magazines, etc.

I Agree. Also note, that phrase you like sounds to me very much like what an Entrepreneur must do in order to be successful.

Substance and form - a debate that goes back to Plato. A very real problem for knowledge as well. How do we know what is out there? In business - it is advertising.
Question - what is the alternative?
